A recipient of the Vazhuvoor Ramiah Pillai Endowment Award from the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, and the Pandit Durga Lal Endowment Award from Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Bhavajan Kumar is a Canadian born male dancer who has been learning Bharatanatyam for the past 12 years and performing professionally for the past 3 years. He was initiated into the art form by Smt. Padmini Ananth (Disciple of Guru Adayar K. Lakshman). He later completed his Bharatanatya Arangetram in 2006 under the guidance of S.Vasu (Disciple of Smt.Leela Arumugam).
Bhavajan is currently undergoing advanced training from his current Gurus Sri Shijith Nambiar and Parvathy Shijith (Kalakshetra) and Smt. Bragha Bessell (Disciple of Guru Adyar. K Lakshman and Kalanidhi Narayanan). He has also had the privilege of learning and working with some illustrious and highly acclaimed gurus and dancers such as Padmabushan Dr. Padma Subramanyam, Padmashri Prof. Sudharani Ragupathy, Smt. Born on 14th September, 1958, into one of the most illustrious musical families in Kerala, Sri.Chembai Venkitaraman studied carnatic vocal music from his father Sri.Chembai Kothandaraman who is a disciple of Late Sri.Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavather and who was Professor of music in Kerala Kalamandalam.
Sri.Venkitaraman continued his studies and passed Ganabhooshanam with first class and First rank, and later Gana Praveena also with First Rank.
After studies, worked as a music teacher in Kerala Kalamandalam for some time, and later joined as a violin tutor in Chembai Memorial Government Music College,Palakkad,Kerala in 1988. Now he is the Head of the Department of Violin at Chembai Memorial Government Music Colege,Palakkad,Kerala.

A Keralite by origin, Rema has had intensive training in Bharatnatyam, Mohiniattam, Kathakali and Kuchipudi under veteran masters including her father, Guru Krishna Panicker, mother Gowri Panicker; and Padmabhusan Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar. A Gold Medalist in Bharatanatyam from M.S. University, she has done her Masters in Performing Arts with specialization in Bharatanatyam. Actor, director, researcher and theatre-trainer, Sreejith Remanan is currently faculty at the School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur.
Born in the southern most state of India, Kerala Sreejith has completed his Bachelor of Theatre Arts (School of Drama, Thrissur), Master of Performing Arts (University of Hyderabad), Master of Philosophy in theatre (Mahatma Gandhi University) and three year diploma in contemporary acting (Theatre Training Research Programme, Singapore). Trained under internationally acclaimed practitioners for more than a decade at camps and workshops, Sreejith's aptitude and energy have been transformed into competence in these avenues. He is an active performer, who has participated in about 80 productions in various capacities that were staged all over India and abroad. He was casted in the lead role in the play Saketham that was staged in Tokyo and also in the plays of Maya Tungberg, Philip Zarilly, Fueda Uichiro, Leela Alaniz, Kok Heng Luen, S.Ramanujam, Abilash Pillai and Ram Gopal Bajaj. He has also won the best actor award by the state government of Kerala in 2003 for Chayamukhi ,directed by Prasanth Narayanan.
Among his half a dozen directorial ventures, The Chairs(Eugene Ionesco) and The Museum of Lost Pieces (a devising project of the students of the University of Hyderabad) merit most attention. He has also directed a short film, Yakusha Co.Ltd(Japanese), which won the best director award at the Swaralaya Film Festival.
A theatre practitioner with deep exposure to and hands-on experience in many theatrical and martial arts traditions of South Asia, Sreejith believes in synergizing the insights for an emerging aesthetics. He subjectively studies theoretical approaches and internalizes them for working his way through the world of the visual, the auditory and the energetic.
